Ratepoint Reviews

  1. Make Sure To Schedule Early ...
    1. Plan for delays such as weather, site conditions, and material delivery.
    2. Larger cranes (50 - 275 Ton) require additional setup time for permits, etc.
    3. Companies which schedule in advance will be given higher priority.
    4. Missouri Crane, Inc. will call to remind you of your set the day before.
  2. Have Load Weights and Measurements Ready ...
    1. Weight of the object and the distance we are moving it are THE MOST important aspects of your crane set.  Make sure to obtain accurate measurements.
    2. If you are unsure of the total weight, make sure to notify us.
    3. Do not understate the weight of the object in order to save crane rental costs.  If the final weight is over 85% of crane capacity, we probably won't lift it.
    4. Remember to add the distance of where the crane will setup.
  3. Pictures and Drawings Help ...
    1. Drawing the overall site layout and the object being moved will help us determine which crane will best fit your job.  You can mail or Email us the final drawing.
    2. Photos can be vital.  If your cellular phone has the ability to take photographs, those can be directly Emailed to us at the accounts listed above.
  4. Ask Questions To Your Sales Rep ...
    1. Setting up a crane for the first time can be a daunting and seemingly scary task.  Our operators and sales staff can answer every question you have.  Ask about such things as drive times, delivery charges, safety, etc.  These are important!
    2. If you have questions in regards to long term crane pricing such as weekly, monthly, or yearly sets, please contact us.
  5. Safety, Safety, Safety ...
    1. Our company has important safety and OSHA documentation in regards to every lift that we perform.  If you require safety advice or copies of this paperwork, please check the website or ask our phone operators for help.
    2. If your jobsite has features such as power lines, low hanging wires, or other such hazards, make sure to tell your operator right away!  These can be dangerous to not only the operator of the crane, but the people on the ground.
    3. We cannot hoist equipment or materials over people.  Hospitals, schools, shopping centers must clear people and customers out of the hoisting area.
